Map Profile Tasks Log Library
How the loop works
- Map. Open a course for Field Steps, When to Stop, Decision Check, kit list, and departure checks. Save a plan date and optional Plan Note. Related Drill jumps to a matching task.
- Profile. Tap the camera badge to change your avatar. Skill Evidence lists learned skills and active plans (Done / Reminder / Cancel).
- Tasks. Run a built-in or custom drill, then write or draft an after-action note. You can attach a spoken debrief.
- Log. Attach a trail photo (Camera or Album), record a field memo, type the log, and optionally draft a Safety Conclusion. Publish stores it in Library.
- Library. Re-open logs, plans, and task results. Play attached audio from the detail sheet.
Drafts are optional. Every safety note, go/no-go brief, and after-action note can be written by hand at no coin cost.
Trail coins
- What do coins buy?
- Only three optional writing drafts, 20 coins each: Safety Conclusion (Log), Go/No-Go Brief (course plan), After-Action Note (task). Photos and voice memos are free.
- Purchase did not add coins
- Wait for the Apple sheet to finish. Stay on Wi-Fi or cellular until the toast confirms the pack. If coins are still missing, email support with the approximate time and pack name (for example Day Marker Kit). Do not screenshot your Apple ID password.
- Draft failed
- If the writing service is unavailable, that attempt is refunded to your local balance. Try again later, or type the note yourself.
- Not enough coins
- Open the store from the coin chip in the top bar and choose a supply pack. Starter coins are granted once per new trail folder.
Photos and audio memos
- Camera or Album is blocked
- iOS Settings → UvinaFlip → enable Camera and Photos. Then retry Camera or Album on the log page.
- Microphone is blocked
- iOS Settings → UvinaFlip → Microphone. Record stays on this device as a short AAC memo (about three minutes max). You can still type the log without it.
- Play says it could not play
- Keep the app in the foreground while recording finishes. Do not force-quit mid-record. Re-record if the file was interrupted. Silent mode does not mute playback routed as spoken audio; check volume.
Keyboard covers a field
On Log and course Plan Note, the page should lift with the keyboard. Drag the page to dismiss. Tap Done on the toolbar above the keyboard when you are finished.
Trail folder
- Leave Camp
- Returns you to the start screen. Field notes, photos, and coins stay on this device. There is no email or password login — tap Start Your Journey to come back.
- Erase Trail Folder
- Permanently deletes local logs, media, and coins on this device. This cannot be undone. Copy anything you need first — the app does not email your folder.
Safety reminder
If someone is injured or lost, contact local emergency services. Do not wait on an in-app draft. UvinaFlip does not place emergency calls.
